CHICAT recognizes that the built environment can encourage hope. Located just south of the Illinois Medical District, CHICAT offers our arts, technology, and vocational programming to youth and adults in a beautifully renovated former warehouse with breathtaking views of Chicago’s skyline. While preserving much of the original wood and other historic features of the original structure, architects Landon Bone Baker and general contractors Bulley and Andrews created a bright, open, and inviting space that inspires the hundreds of students who look to us each year to help them build brighter futures.
CHICAT is available to rent for a range of professional and personal events including conferences, staff trainings, holiday parties, receptions, and other celebrations. Our building is ADA compliant and offers multiple spaces and resources including a large performance space, smaller classrooms, a commercial kitchen, and a full suite of AV resources.
